Kevlar packing STYLE 6500 is a braided packing made of Du Pont's continuous filament Kevlar yarn, impregnated with PTFE emulsion and processed with lubricant. Kevlar's strength and modulus are equivalent to steel-like strength, making this packing more resistant to severe media and higher pressure compared to other braided packings. It can be installed separately or used as end rings in combination with other packings to create a seal packing ring set with different characteristics.

Additionally, it serves as an excellent anti-extrusion ring when paired with more pliable packings.

Aramid fiber packing braided from high quality Dupont aramid and kevlar fiber with PTFE impregnated and lubricant additive. It is wear resistant but may damage the shaft is not used properly. A minimum shaft hardness of 60HRC is therefore recommended.

Kevlar PTFE Packing is a braided packing made of Aramid Fiber yarns impregnated with P T FE dispersion and treatde with lubricant. T his packing can bear higherpressure applications than other types of braided packing Due to its steel-like strength, this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up rings with other types of packing.

This packing has been developed to replace asbestos packing for pump systems. It covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provides and even muchbetter. It affords longer service life under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction, such as sand sulrry, tinmining, paper slurry, feed water pump of power stations. etc.
