STYLE 6500 Kevlar Aramid fiber packing is crafted from Du Pont's continuous filament Kevlar yarn, which is soaked in a PTFE emulsion and treated with a lubricant. Due to Kevlar's strength and modulus, which are comparable to steel, this packing outperforms other braided packings in terms of withstanding harsher media and greater pressures. It can be utilized on its own or as end rings in conjunction with various other packings to blend distinct properties into a comprehensive seal packing ring assembly.

Kevlar PTFE Packing is a braided packing made of Aramid Fiber yarns impregnated with P T FE dispersion and treatde with lubricant. T his packing can bear higherpressure applications than other types of braided packing Due to its steel-like strength, this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up rings with other types of packing.

This packing has been developed to replace asbestos packing for pump systems. It covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provides and even muchbetter. It affords longer service life under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction, such as sand sulrry, tinmining, paper slurry, feed water pump of power stations. etc.
