SUNPASS CARBONIZED FIBER PTFE PACKING Carbon fiber packing, also known as carbon fiber packing, is mainly made of carbon fiber. The scientific name of this fiber is "polypropylene acrylic carbon fiber". The material made of carbon fiber and related matrix resin (such as epoxy resin) has many physical and mechanical properties, which can be comparable to that of metal. Carbon fiber packing is widely used in aerospace, aviation, chemical industry, electronics and sports equipment because of its unique characteristics of high temperature resistance (over 3000℃), ablation resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient, high specific strength and high specific modulus. Carbon fiber has a low specific gravity, so it has a high specific strength. Carbon fiber packing has excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance, chemical stability, high mechanical strength and small starting torque, so it will not damage the pump shaft and has a long service life. It is an ideal material for various dynamic and static seals. Carbon fiber packing is suitable for corrosive liquids such as acid and alkali, organic solvents, etc., and is widely used for sealing flanges, valves, reactors and pumps in petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fiber, coal mining, power generation, metallurgy and other industrial fields.
