1. The hatch cover seal is constructed from a complex, multi-fiber, woven seal that consists of robust, pure PTFE fibers with a lubricating layer woven into its exterior. Beneath this layer, it features several plies of thick PTFE tape, and the seal itself is crafted from a dry, open-weave polypropylene fiber material. At its center, there's an NBR rubber core, encased in numerous layers of PTFE tape.
2. It is nearly the optimal selection for sealing chemical applications.
3. It possesses exceptional resilience and can be formed into a sealing ring that is joined at both ends.
