SUNPASS Silicone Coated Fabric minimizes the risk of fire and heat, safeguarding individuals and equipment while also reducing energy usage and resulting in cost savings. These specialty fabrics offer temperature protection ranging from 300°F to 2,300°F. The silicone fabric is constructed from yarns that withstand high temperatures and can be treated and coated in multiple methods. It is lightweight, flexible, and adaptable, making it ideal for various high-temperature applications. Uses include pipe insulation, expansion joints, thermal shields, mechanical protection, and removable insulation pads or blankets. Silicone coated fabrics feature silicone rubber dispersion coating on both sides of the fiberglass, resulting in a thin yet strong, dimensionally stable, and flexible material.
