The emergency relief manhole is a safety emergency ventilation device installed on the top of the storage tank, which is basically kept sealed when the breathing valve is working normally.
Tank manhole swing bolts have two functions:
One is the sudden over pressure of the storage tank due to the failure of the normal operation of the breathing valve to meet the accidental reasons (fire around the tank or exceeding the design flow rate);
The second is to inhale air for pressure discharge (emergency discharge valve with suction valve)
When the material inside the storage tank rises and the pressure inside the top of the tank increases, the gas in the storage tank needs to be discharged. At this time, when the breathing valve cannot meet the discharge requirements, the emergency relief manhole starts to work to balance the internal pressure of the storage tank and ensure the safety of the storage tank.
