Production Process of High Silica Fabric 1000℃ High Temperature Resistant
(1) Raw material preparation
Use high-quality alkali-free glass fiber cloth and glass fiber yarn. It is an important basis for high-purity and high-strength high-silicon oxide.
(2) Carbonization
Use alkali-free glass fiber cloth as raw material and perform carbonization treatment in a carbonization furnace. After treatment, the starch on the surface of the alkali-free glass fiber cloth is completely removed, exposing the glass fibers.
(3) Reeling
The carbonized alkali-free glass fiber cloth is rolled onto a reel through a cloth roll machine for easy transportation and subsequent processing.
(4) Acid leaching purification
Purification is to precipitate the non-siliceous components in the structure under the action of acid so that the SiO2 content in the structure reaches more than 96%.
This link is the core link in the manufacture of high-silicon oxide cloth. The acid solution formula, temperature and duration will affect the purity of silica and the heat resistance of the cloth.
(5) Cleaning and drying
Wash the residue with water and dry it. The high-silicon oxide cloth is then produced.
Sintering: A short-term heat treatment in a high-temperature furnace (approximately 800-1000°C) is performed to stabilize its structure and increase the strength of the cloth.
Surface treatment (optional): Surface treatment may be performed depending on the end use. Coating: Applying high-temperature resistant coatings (such as vermiculite PU, ceramic coating) can further improve the fire resistance, resistance to molten metal splashing, and insulation properties of the cloth.
Packaging inspection: Silica content, tensile strength, size, and unit area weight are tested to ensure that the product is produced as required.
