Asbestos PTFE Packing is made of white and higest quality asbestos fiber packing impregnated with PTFE dispersion. (addition of lubricant is optional.) Asbestos PTFE packing is soft in texture and suitalbe as the sealing of pumps for liquidated chemical, However asbestos packing impregnated with lubricants is recommended for use with reciprocating pumps or for the sealing in places where linear velocity is up to 10 m/s.
Asbestos PTFE Packing Application:
1.Asbestos PTFE packing is soft in texture and it is a general service packing for all rotating and reciprocating pump, mixers and valves sealing
2.Asbestos PTFE packing with lubricants is recommended for use with reciprocating pumps or for the sealing in places where linear velocity is up to 10 m/s.
3. Used in hot and cold water, ammonia, caustics, mild acids, difficult chemicals, air,gases, steam.
